Air Burkina, which was founded in 1967 is the national airline of Burkina Faso. It is majority owned by an AKFED/IPS consortium and operates from its main base at Ouagadougou Airport. AKFED also control airlines Air Mali, Meridiana and Air Uganda. The airline serves West Africa from its hub airport Ouagadougou.
The airline operates scheduled services to one domestic destination, Bobo-Dioulasso, as well as offering regional services to Togo, Benin, Mali, Niger, Côte d'Ivoire, Senegal and Ghana. Air Burkina’s fleet is made up of two Embraer 170 aircrafts, providing the best international standards in terms of security and comfort. Equipped with 12 Business class seats and 56 Economy class, the Embraer 170 is particularly suited to serve the regional network and provide the best comfort to passengers GDS:
