Starting October 1, 2025, TAP Air Portugal will begin flights at the new António Agostinho Neto International Airport (NBJ), replacing the former airport. The inaugural flight will land on September 30, 2025. The airport, located about 40 km from downtown Luanda, has a capacity for 15 million passengers annually and will feature modern facilities and additional services. Flights on the LIS–NBJ and OPO–NBJ routes will be available for booking starting September 17, 2025, with existing tickets automatically revalidated to the new airport.
