Air Caraïbes belongs to the diversified Vendeen holding: Groupe Dubreuil. The company was founded in 2000 by Jean-Paul Dubreuil, the current Chairman, to serve the French departments of the Caribbean.
With the recent arrival of new aircraft to strengthen its fleet, Air Caraïbes has broadened its service by offering passengers travelling alone or in groups even more comfort, speed and modernity. Thanks to this modern fleet and its particularly bright and spacious aircraft cabins, Air Caraïbes offers the best value for money on the market to the West Indies and French Guiana. A feeling of comfort that lasts all crossing through many kindnesses that we reserve our transatlantic flights: a refined meal service and beverages with flavors of the islands and numerous distractions (free press, music, video games, recent films released on individual screen for a total range of viewing), without forgetting our comfort kits well stocked, a fleece blanket and a pillow to prop up the head or kidneys. On 12 December 2003, the airline began transatlantic flights and provides regular flights from Paris Orly Sud to Pointe-à-Pitre (Guadeloupe), Fort-de-France (Martinique) and Cayenne (French Guiana).
