Aigle Azur is now France’s leading airline for destinations in and around the Mediterranean, and has also developed a network of routes in West Africa and, more recently, Eastern Europe.
Algeria—the company’s flagship destination—now enjoys optimal coverage, with 13 cities served from Paris (Orly and Charles de Gaulle) and elsewhere in France: Lille, Lyon, Marseille, Mulhouse and Toulouse (all year round) and Bordeaux, Nice and Strasbourg (during the summer period). Mali is served by four flights per week to Bamako and two flights per week to Kayes. Portugal is Aigle Azur’s second star destination! The increasingly popular cities of Lisbon and Porto are served by daily flights, Funchal by two flights per week from Paris (in partnership with SATA) and one flight per week from Lyon during the summer period, and Faro by one flight per week, again during the summer period. More recently, a route to the Azores has also been added (in partnership with SATA). Russia, a new destination for 2012, will be served by 11 flights per week from 27 July, departing from Paris Orly Sud and landing at Moscow Vnukovo. The route will be operated in collaboration with Russia’s second leading airline, Transaero Airlines. Tunisia is also on Aigle Azur’s map, with one flight per week to Djerba and three flights per week to Tunis. Aigle Azur provides nearly 300 scheduled flights per week to Algeria, Mali, Portugal, Russia and Tunisia. We operate out of 10 French airports. The company also makes chartered tourist flights or series of flights for third-party companies throughout the Mediterranean. GDS:
